This is the second time my Great Dane has been treated here. The first time, she had Lyme Disease. It was easily diagnosed, and I'm glad they tested for it. But the last time she was there, last summer, she had a UTI. The vet who came in talked to us for less than 2 minutes. She was preachy, and didn't listen to us. She just told us to bring her back in the following week to get spayed. She asked no questions, and didn't listen to our concerns. This is a 9 year old dog, rescued, who is terrified of riding in the car. She also lives indoors and we wouldn't allow her to be in contact with other dogs when she goes in heat. I don't think she will tolerate this surgery well, and feel it's better for her to have her call and happy for the time she has left. As a Great Dane owner 5 times before, I know she isn't likely to live for more than more 2-3 years. But these issues weren't discuss. Also, I had asked the tech for a price on the spaying, and they never gave that to us. It was disappointing.

Called for a quote on spaying a mature dog. The quote was given 3 times for accuracy at $440-$600. I felt this was a little expensive, but had high expectations of the facility and doctors. The high end of the quote was if there was complications and fluids needed. They took her in at 8 a.m. the next day and finished by 9 a.m. according to the staff that called at 11:45 a.m. The staff member repeatedly commented how well everything went and that there were no complications or sickness afterwards and that she would be able to go home the next morning.

My dog was hit by a car. I thought she was dead but when I brought her on the porch, she was breathing. I brought her to this animal hospital. Sadly my dog died on the way, but the staff was very caring and professional. They placed my dog in a box and helped me carry the box back out to my car. They did not charge me anything and

In conclusion, my family and relatives will never do business with this practice again. I hope this review helps others as this is factual and not written in haste.

I was giving this establishment an opportunity to redeem themselves from a very bad experience over 20 years ago that resulted in the death of a family pet. Unfortunately I can see this practice is still padding bills and doing unnecessary things to increase their bottom line.

Update- 08/30/2017-I was here with my sick Beagle/Corgi last week. He was rather sick and we arrived at 5 p.m.. The vet tech was wonderful with my dog. The vet (from 5 to midnight) was a very experienced doctor. He suggested a very comprehensive exam, and all the tests recommended were done within 30 minutes. My daughter and I got to stay in the exam room, while waiting, and the dog came back in the room to wait, which made him comfortable. Once the doctor got all the tests back, the doc came in. Our dog had a simple infection but he got his annual lab bloodwork done, an x-ray (because of intestinal symptoms, he was bloated) and his diagnosis and treatment. The price was very reasonable. But the peace of mind is priceless. We could see there was no parasite, or internal swelling or injury, no kidney disease or diabetes in almost no time. And there was no charge for an emergency visit. My opinion of this practice is based on all of my visits, but the staff now is really great.

Worst vet hospital ever, staff rude as could be. took our money, $400.00 to admit her and treat as agreed on the phone and then let our puppy lay there to die unless we brought them another $1000.00, immediately. Only concern is money and not treating your pet. Wouldn't even give her a pain medication after paying $400.00 Threatening to put her down without our permission unless we brought them another $1000.00 Or pick her up when they called us for more money. She was there only few hours and we picked her up. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Not there to help your pet first, only concern is money, not your pet. They will rip you off. Bad owners and staff.

Upon arrival the following day, we were greeted with a bill of over $900! A far cry from the quoted amount just the day before. Our dog was up to date on her shots with another vet, but they chose to persuade my underage daughter to agree vaccinate her again instead of contacting the owner/responsible party for permission.

I confronted this practice and got plenty of excuses and they backed the bill down a small amount. One of the staff tried to tell me that there was complications during and after surgery, totally contradicting what I was told less than 3 hours after surgery the previous day!

Took my dog here in an emergency on a Friday evening. The staff was extremely supportive and kind both to myself and my dog. They were understanding and knowledgeable and made sure to explain all the options. They really do have your pets best interest at heart and have a non-judgemental approach. I would recommend them for any emergency need.
