Good nudist resort. Large area (about 390 acres) with many good nude hiking trails in wooded/hilly terrain, 7 acre lake w/swimming, fishing and a few boats, pool, club house and a few open house days. Nudity generally required in pool area. About 10 miles north of Greensboro, NC.
First time at this resort. Far exceeded expectations. Very clean, well kept and excellent management. Lynn does a great job and is extremely helpful. This place has been updated. Very friendly people, probably 50/50 mix of men to women. Forget the old reviews from two plus years ago. That owner has passed. You CAN visit more than once now and they have great new rates for different membership levels. See you there!
If you have body art contact the management before you visit. Bar-S prohibits certain types of body art from their facility. I was surprised to be informed by the management that I would have to remove my piercing jewelry in order to be allowed to enter. This policy seems incongruous with a place that promotes openness and acceptance of all body types.
