Great food. Great management. Poor service. But the manager immediately stepped in to make things better.
Arrived at restaurant on Sunday around 1:30pm and a lot of the food had been setting. They were not as busy as I had expected, being said management should have stayed on top of keeping the food looking fresh. The pinto beans had formed a dry, hard crust on top from the head lamps. The pizza my son likes to eat had set so long it was hard and cold. The fried chicken had been under that lamp so long it wasn't just crispy anymore. The outside was hard like over cooked hard. I could go on but I think my point has been made. My husband and I completely understand food service and cost because we both work in that field but you need to remember food quality also. Especially with the prices charged for just a family of four and two were children. On the plus side our waitress was very nice and attentive. To be very honest, she would be the only reason I return.
Plenty of food to choose from...salad, nachos, rolls, seafood, chicken, vegetables of all types and lots of dessert options (ice cream, cake, pie, etc). Most everything was kept in stock or restocked within a reasonable amount of time, food areas were kept clean, servers were friendly, efficient and always asking if anything was needed. A decent price for everything offered.
Good food with plenty of choices - I think prices are a bit high but overall a really good place to eat - We usually go to Golden Corral on Freeway Drive in Reidsville, NC
I don't love crowds so we usually come for a late breakfast or dinner right before they close. The food is usually filled and hot, though they won't refill if it's late (which I wouldn't expect them too). There are employees who will make food by order during breakfast and the desert bar is usually stocked with the occasional time the chocolate fountain is off. Employees are a bit slow but very sweet. Wish the prices matched other Golden Corrals, these ones seem a bit higher.
