A wonderful hospital!! Everyone is super nice & friendly! Great patient care!
The wait is ridiculous. I Saw a lady maybe 70 to 80 years of age who had been here since 4:00 pm keep in mind it's now 11:38 pm and she has (just) been taking back. I know nothing of the protocols the hospital follows I'm sure they suppose to be in the publics best interest, but I do feel elderly people should been seen promptly and not wait hours on hours.
I called to get updates several times. I was always put on hold and forgotten about. I had to keep calling back to get someone to actually talk to me.
My father was brought here after complications from a heart attack. They left him in a room in the ED for hours and didn't attend to him at all. There was very little communication and they didn't feed him despite admitting him. They kept saying they'd feed him later but they never did.
When I got there I was in a lot of pain and my nurse didn't seem to care cause "I was fine when I came in" and after an hour of being there still in pain they said they couldn't give me any ibeprofin. Finally shift change came and my nurse Lana took great care of me! She got me some medicine cause she heard me moaning from the hallway. She was super nice, and she cared about me. Thank you Lana! ❤️
Came in for a kidney infection/pain/blood in urine. Worst experience ever. The wait was incredibly long, the nurse was very rude and was sick with what looked like the flu. When I was finally taken back I asked the nurse (who said nothing to me) does he know when I will be seeing the doctor, I had been in excruciating pain for hours and clearly had ALOT of blood in my urine. He said "when he gets to you, we are busy". Which I understand, but I was sick too. Nobody wants to wait 2 hours, and be billed a huge bill for being told the cause was unknown. No scans, X-rays, nothing. The doctor asked if I wanted some Percocet (like I was drug seeking or something) I said I want to know what's wrong with me. They started an IV on a PUMP (I guess to clear out the room faster) at this time I called my fiancé who happens to be a police officer back and told him what had been going on. The pump kept beeping and my arm started hurting. The nurse came in and kept hitting the push button. I told him my arm was hurting and he supposedly "didn't feel any infertration" (I probably spelled that wrong) and walked out. Next thing I know I looked at my arm and it is swollen to the size of a ballon. The I've had went through my vein. I began to panic, crying (which is not like me) but it was scary! The doctor walked right by my room, looked right at me while hyperventilating and kept walking! My fiancé had to go find a nurse. There were police officers there that even had to ask if I was okay. The dumb, rude nurse came in and then followed the doctor, they both apologized and gave me a warm compress. I still didn't get any answers. The gave me a script for steroids and pain medication and referred me to a urologist WHO DIAGNOSED ME WITH STONES AND A UTI. Never again will I come here!
